Walford Park and Recreation Minutes

Regular Meeting                                                                                                           Tuesday  November 2, 2021

Meeting called to order at 7:06 p.m. Lane, Davis, Hebert, and Miner present. Primmer absent.

Motion to approve October 5, 2021 meeting minutes by Herbert, seconded by Davis. Approved unanimous.

Motion to approve up to $800 for Christmas Party purchases by Davis, seconded by Lane. Approved unanimous.

Pickle ball court:

Courts Fore Sports rep attended meeting - Jason Miller

Cement-all is recommended skim-coat  Jason will do this. However, it is his opinion that water got under the concrete due to lack of fill dirt up against the original concrete pour and created the crack. Recommends immediate fill dirt as he recommended.  Board requests a quote for the extension of the court and fencing. Jason recommends committing to spend as soon as reasonable in order to fix pricing. 

General equipment grounds/maintenance:

Fill dirt is urgently needed around concrete slab of the pickle ball court.

Consider pole replacement at volleyball court.

Metal pipe dome in main park requires paint.
