Walford City Council ProceedingsRegular Meeting                                                                                                       Monday January 8, 2018Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., by Mayor Bill Voss.Roll Call: Bergmeier, Kane, Pegump and Voss present. Huber was absent.Bergmeier moved approval of the agenda as posted, seconded by Kane. Roll Call: Unanimous.Voss moved approval of the December 11, 2017 minutes, as posted and published, seconded by Pegump. Roll Call: Unanimous.Pegump moved approval of the December 31, 2017 Treasurer Report, seconded by Voss.Roll Call: Unanimous.Bergmeier moved approval of the January Expenditures, seconded by Kane. Roll Call: Unanimous.Bergmeier introduced Resolution No. 1-18-1 Approving Pay Estimate 4 of the 2017 HMA Street Improvement Project with LL Pelling Co. in the amount of $7,876.74 (retainage), seconded by Roll Call: Unanimous. (Uthoff Drive and A Avenue W. asphalt).Pegump introduced Resolution No. 1-18-2 Completion and Acceptance of work of the 2017 HMA Street Improvement Project with LL Pelling Co., seconded by Voss. Roll Call: Unanimous.Voss moved approval of the 2018 Seal Coat Cost Per Ton Proposal from LL Pelling Co., seconded by Kane. Roll Call: Unanimous.Discussion was held regarding Ordinance No. 206 Titled “Noise and Noise Limits”. Additional language to be included. Other ‘noise” issues were discussed, such as ‘train whistles”.Mayor Voss appointed John Pegump as Mayor Pro Tem.Discussion was held regarding Request for Proposals for City Engineer.
