Walford City Council ProceedingsRegular Meeting                                                                                                                     March 7, 2016Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., by Mayor Randy Bauer.Roll Call: Bergmeier, Hoskins, Kane, Plogman were present. Huber was absent.Kane moved approval of the agenda as posted, seconded by Hoskins. Roll Call: Unanimous.Bergmeier moved approval of the February 8, 2016 minutes as posted and published, seconded by Kane.Roll Call: Unanimous.Hoskins moved approval of the February 29, 2016 Treasurer’s Report, seconded by Plogman.Roll Call: Unanimous.Kane moved approval of the March expenditures, seconded by Hoskins. Roll Call: Unanimous.Joe Blanck of Kingery Manufacturing Services was present to inquire about possible tax incentives for new business. Mayor addressed possibilities, city will move forward with Bond Council.A Public Hearing was held at 7:08 p.m., regarding the FY 16/17 Budget Estimates. No written or oral objections were received.Plogman moved to close the Budget Public Hearing at 7:10 p.m., seconded by Kane.Roll Call: Unanimous.Hoskins introduced Resolution No. 3-16-1 approving the FY 16/17 Budget Estimates as published, seconded by Bergmeier. Roll Call: Unanimous.Plogman introduced Resolution No. 3-16-2 rescheduling the April Regular meeting from Monday April 11th to Monday April 18th, seconded by Kane. Roll Call: Unanimous.Kane introduced Resolution No. 3-16-3 adopting the Benton County Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, seconded by Bergmeier. Roll Call: Unanimous.Kane introduced Resolution No. 2-16-1 awarding the 2003 F250 Truck bid to Kevin Costigan in the amount of $5,505.00, seconded by Plogman. Roll Call: Unanimous. Four Bids were received.Other areas of discussion included, but not limited to the following: Summer street projects, Waggener property cleanup, need of additional street lights, church use of community center for meetings, andreports of door-to-door scam.Kane moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m., seconded by Hoskins.
