Walford Park and Recreation MinutesRegular Meeting September 3, 2019Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m., by Chairperson Meyers. Meyers, Lane, Gann, and Miner present. Reed was absent.Motion by Meyers to approve August 6th, 2019 minutes, seconded by Lane. Roll Call: Unanimous.Pickle ball discussionJason Miller present to share services and details about court design and installation. Turnkey - design through finished construction. Dealer for Iowa for Versa court surface product. Examples provided for inspection.Discussion had regarding potential placement of pickle ball court in area on or near the existing sand volleyball court in city park.Motion by Gann to place court between tree and sand pit, seconded by Lane.Discussion surrounding dimensions and if adequate space between tree and court. 2 in favor, 2 opposed. In favor - Lane, Gann.
