Baseball Program

Little League team won the league championship.

All-Star game on July 10.

Possibility of high school level team to join the existing league, will need discussion to determine funding needs, associated player fees, and resourcing needed if interest is sufficient.

Investigate interest in 2022 teams for baseball and softball, possibly by Facebook, possibly begin sign-up now or survey interest now via social media.

IVL rules stipulate bat certification - 2022 will require purchase of bats to comply with league rules.

 General Equipment/Grounds Maintenance

Pickle ball court

South side of court continues to change and have dead spots.  Ball is not bouncing true.  Follow up with Courts Fore Sports to occur.  Suggestion to have rep come during gameplay to see what alternatives to correct can be pursued.

Court ends are not far enough from the out of bounds lines, additional 4' of length of each end are proposed by the playing league in order to enable space to allow movement and typical game play.

Propose city maintenance place fill soil around concrete pad of pickle ball court to mitigate the                                                                 drop off the concrete playing surface.  Grass seeding proposed to follow in September.

 Wind screens are functioning well.

Bench - blue color, example is from Summit Supply catalog, Item # B6WBPERFSM
