SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC WORKS

The City of Walford has an immediate opening for Public Works Department.

The Public Works is responsible for oversight and maintenance of City streets, buildings, grounds, equipment, mowing, snow plowing, and other task as assigned. Professional experience working with public is preferred. Experience with heavy equipment is required. Must live within 30 minutes of Walford. Candidates must possess valid Iowa CDL Driver’s License with acceptable driving record, pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening, and sign a release to obtain a criminal background check.

Starting Hourly wage: $21.00 Benefits includes Iowa Public Employee Retirement System and Health insurance.
