Regular Meeting February10, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm, by Mayor Randy Bauer
Roll Call: Bergmeier, Ellis, Greiner & Jones.
Ellis moved approval of the agenda as posted, seconded by Jones. Roll Call: Unanimous
Bergmeier moved to approve the Appointment of Lonny Goodwin for the City Council Seat, seconded by Ellis. Roll Call: Unanimous
Jones moved approval of the minutes from 1/13 & 2/3, seconded by Bergmeier. Roll Call:Unanimous
Ellis moved approval of the 1/31 Treasurers Report, seconded by Goodwin. Roll Call: Unanimous
Bergmeier moved approval of the February expenditures, seconded by Jones. Roll Call: Unanimous
Linn County Sheriff’s report dated 1/13-2/10 received & placed on file. There were 25 calls for service.
Sewer Delinquency report placed on file.
Chad from ION Environmental Services was onsite to deliver report.
Greiner moved to set the Public Hearing Date for FY 26/27 proposed Property Tax Levy for Tuesday April 7th at 6:00pm, seconded by Goodwin. Roll Call: Unanimous
Bergmeier moved to reschedule the regular April 14th meeting to Tuesday, April 7th at 6:15pm, seconded by Jones. Roll Call: Unanimous
Ellis moved to Renew Current CD at 12-month Special Rate, seconded by Greiner. Roll Call: Unanimous
Ellis moved to approve hiring a Part Time Parks & Rec Coordinator at a maximum of 1040 hours per year, seconded by Jones. Roll Call: Yes: Ellis, Goodwin, Greiner & Jones. No: Bergmeier
Bergmeier moved to approve the Appointments of Tammy Horak, Chris Perkins, Brian Butz & Rachel Hahn to Parks & Rec effective immediately, seconded by Ellis. Roll Call: Unanimous
Greiner moved to approve the Appointment of Eric Reese to Board of Adjustments, seconded by Ellis.
Roll Call: Unanimous
Other items of discussion included, but not limited to MIWMA, ECICOG study, Maint. replacing street signs, recycling old computers & city hall landscaping.
Jones moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:22 pm, seconded by Ellis. Roll Call: Unanimous
