Equipment/Grounds/Maintenance
• Knapp Creek park equipment rubberized surface on stairs and platforms is peeling - update that new panels are available and will be installed by city maintenance staff.
• Backstop at city park ball diamond area and backstop at small diamond have fencing that is curling and pulled away from posts/pipe. Board requests maintenance staff re-wire fencing back to post to prevent balls from escaping backstop enclosure during gameplay
• Board acknowledges the placement of the mats under the swing set. Placement appears to be inconsistent with expectations of mats being flush with the surface of the ground and may require additional grading, tamping, and fitting. UPDATE - this remains and requires remediation
• Continued and constant concerns persist regarding quality and timing of mowing and other general city parks maintenance
Motion to adjourn by Butz, seconded by Horak. Meeting adjourned 8:21 PM
