City Council Recap
- The 2026 Asphalt Program bid was approved. A construction schedule will be shared once available.
- 1st Avenue W will close for bridge work between 3rd St N and 2nd St S beginning in May.
Parks & Rec
- Three new dog waste stations were added around town.
- A concessions vendor has been secured for summer ball season.
- Volunteer umpires are needed for summer ball.
- Pickleball starts April 13 at City Park, Monday through Friday from 9–11am. All ages welcome.
Reminders
- Golf cart and chicken permits must be renewed annually.
- Visit Walford’s lending library at City Hall.
- Please clean up after dogs while walking.
- Leave plowing of City property to City workers.
- Text WALFORD to 91896 to receive city alerts.
