Work Session                                                                                                                      August 11, 2026

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm, by Mayor Randy Bauer

Roll Call: Ellis, Goodwin, Jones, Butz, Leymaster & Scott. Bergmeier, Greiner, Brown & Vaske 

were absent.

Charlie Nichols from Linn County Planning & Development led a work session regarding Fringe Area Agreements and what one could look like between Walford and Linn County. Next step is to engage the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) to assist in the development process. Mayor Bauer, Mr. Nichols and an ECICOG representative will develop the process and timeline and report back to the council. 

Mayor Bauer declared adjournment @ 7:45pm
